NOTICE of QEST Inc. Annual General Meeting
to be held at ConQEST on
Monday 1st July 2019 at 4:00pm
As a member of Queensland Education Science Technicians Inc., you are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting – scheduled to be held at our annual conference, ConQEST 2019.
Please RSVP your apology or intention to attend to QEST@qest.org.au with “AGM RSVP” in the subject line. If you have an item for General business, please contact us through the QEST secretary via email, for consideration to be added to the agenda.
Items for the agenda, nominations and RSVPs must be received by QEST no later than Monday the 17th of June.
The agenda, related reports and motions, and list of nominations for representative positions will be emailed to members and made available through the QEST members area of the website by Monday 24th June. If appropriate, a proxy vote form for those unable to attend conference will also be uploaded to the website.
It is anticipated that the meeting will be approximately 45 minutes in duration.
As time available is limited, no general business will be taken from the floor. Members are welcome and encouraged to share their ideas for QEST’s future direction with the incoming committee members throughout the conference. Please remember that members DO NOT need to wait until a general meeting to share their thoughts, correspondence via email or a phone call to representatives is always welcome.
Call for Nominations for QEST Representative Positions

Representatives are needed to disseminate information and support to members across the state in a variety of forms. Position descriptions are available on the QEST website under “Join QEST” and in the members area.
New volunteers and their ideas are always welcome. It doesn’t matter where you are based, if you have a phone line or a computer then you can participate in the management of QEST and services to its members.
Nominations must be submitted to the QEST Secretary, preferably via email firstname.lastname@example.org , no later than 5pm on Monday the 17th of June.
Members will be advised of nominations by Monday 24th June.
