NOTICE of QEST Inc. Annual General Meeting
to be held via Video or Teleconference on
Wednesday 29th of July, at 3:30pm for a 3:45pm start
Due to the cancellation of ConQEST this year, the QEST 2020 AGM will be held via video or teleconference. All financial members of Queensland Education Science Technicians Inc. are invited to attend.
Members please RSVP your apology or intention to attend to QEST@qest.org.au with “AGM RSVP” in the subject line. If you have an item for General business, please contact us through the QEST secretary via email, for consideration to be added to the agenda.
Items for the agenda, nominations and RSVPs must be received by QEST no later than 9am Wednesday the 15th of July.
The agenda, related reports and motions, list of nominations for representative positions, and how to participate in the teleconference, will be emailed to members and made available through the QEST membership portal resource files by Wednesday 22nd July. A proxy vote form for those unable to attend the AGM will also be uploaded to the website. This will need to be sent to QEST prior to the meeting commencing.
It is anticipated that the meeting will be approximately 45 minutes in duration. Please note that a quorum of 21 members in attendance is required for the AGM to go ahead.
As time available is limited, no general business will be taken from the floor. Members are welcome and encouraged to share their ideas for QEST’s future direction with the incoming committee members via email. Please remember that members DO NOT need to wait until a general meeting to share their thoughts, correspondence via email or a phone call to representatives is always welcome.
